You may joke davido, but I know a couple of people who have insulation tape over their laptop webcam and phone camera. They are both Russian... Co-incidence? :D
 
Also as a side note, I believe that the introductory price is very similar to the PS3 introductory price.

My phone is normally face down on my desk as I sleep? I'm also not paranoid, it's more a principle thing than anything else.

Plus the fact that I own a PC and there is no chance in hell I'd buy a console these days.
 
To be honest, I think that's quite a good price for what you get actually. But, of course, as it's Microsoft everybody just joins in with the mindless bashing as per usual :rolleyes:

I really don't understand all the hate against a company which has done so much for the technology industry. Silly people.
 
I think peoples gripe is that they may have done an awful lot for the technology industry, but they could have done a-lot of those things better, when they were capable of doing better.

Well, I guess that's fair - however it's always easier to say how something should've been done in retrospect. I, myself, respect and like Microsoft - they do a lot for their customers and the developer community.

Don't get me wrong, I like Microsoft too, for providing me with my entire computer experience, and for what they provide for the developer community, and students as well don't forget :)

But I do look at things they have done quite often and think "why have they done that?!" and "Why didn't they do this?!" but I suppose that's the way it goes with a lot of things from a-lot of companies.

I usually get over it by thinking "could I have done better?" the answer is almost always no. To which I then think "then why am I moaning."
 
£430 xbox with drm and creepy camera features, ps4 £349 no DRM, no creepy camera and slightly more powerful internals.

im not getting either, but if i was it wouldnt be hard to decide.

It is mind-boggling. If you think about it, it took one Microsoft Presentation to prep the coffin, and one Sony Presentation to hammer the nails in.

If I buy a next-gen console, I am about 99% sure it will be a PS4 -actually, given the lack of new hardware on PC after the disappointment in Haswell, it may actually be a good idea to go with a PS4 in the interim!
