Pre-season Friendlies - Summer 2023

Our 2nd pre-season game is kicking off in a few mins. Szoboszlai has a minor knock but isn't being risked, Trent is starting as a 6 again (but again I think it's a case of needs must) and Gakpo as an 8. There's no need to play Gakpo as an 8 so it's starting to look more and more that Klopp sees him as an option there.

Nketiah does not look good for more than 10 goals a season if lucky. They should have sold him long ago when they had the chance. Not a single shot in the second half

Nketiah did have a shot 2nd half iirc, wide angle and it was off target, arguably should have crossed it but he didn't look up. Maybe someone counted it as a cross for the stats heh.

I love everyone but I just love bantering other teams. I would have thought people would have twigged by now . I should really take up fishing as I think I would be good at it.

I don't think that is a red in a friendly, real game sure. Red's in friendlies should be reserved for extreme situations and this isn't it. People are overreacting because the player got injured.

The ref was atrocious by the sound of things, the actual red he gave was arguably not even a yellow.
