*** Pre-season Friendlies Thread ***

This is never going to be a great pre-season if we are honest. Last year we tried out our team for the league, this year we are missing half the team due to the Euro and Olympics and Fergie just seems to be giving everyone a pop. I just hope that the last few games give the first team a chance to gel.

I really like the way Kagawa plays and I am hoping that his short passing a movement will become our style in the middle next season.
 
Not massively surprised. Didn't feel we would win this game. Great finish though!
 
We haven't been dire, we have just looked like a team without much structure and with a bunch of young inexperienced players. Chicharito has missed a couple of sitters but bar that its been a bit of a non event.

No & Yes

Although with all the players out these past two games have been like watching a Jigsaw. Hopefully Fergal puts together all the pieces for the Everton game. We have lacked any real width on the left hand side in both games.
 
Powell looks decent, i think over the season we may find that playing him as a centre mid instead of a attacking midfielder could be a waste.
