*** Pre-season Friendlies Thread ***

Chelsea have been ok in pre-season so far but it's become obvious that we need another goalscorer but at least there's enough creativity in the squad now.
Lukaku was fair against Seattle but PSG's far more organised defence highlighted how clumsy he is and he'll surely be going on loan somewhere so that leaves us with Torres and Sturridge, that's not enough.

If you have £40m then you can have Lewandowski. ;)

Java Cup has been cancelled. Well done everybody. Will be interested to see what the club do if anything for those people who've made arrangements to go out and see them play in it.

The team was meant to be flying out today as well! :D

Agreed. He needs somewhere brutal like Fulham to ply his trade. I really reckon Torres can shock everyone this season.............. I hope, Sturridge is greedy which is why I'd rather see him up front rather than out on the wing. I'd say we'll land Oscar and maybe Cavani. Depends on how the rest of pre-season and first couple of PL matches go.

Spurs reluctance to sign a striker is getting a bit like Fergie's refusal to sign a central midfielder  :p
