Premier League Manager of the Season 2010/2011

I agree with Pulis to be honest. Was going to come in and say Fergie for doing what he's done with this Man United team and if he wins the CL then its going to be a very tough call between the two. Although if Stoke manage to win the FA cup I'd say its well deserved for Pulis, hands down.

What Pulis has done with Stoke is remarkable and it shows the benefits of solidarity and faith in a manager, in my opinion anyways.

Wouldn't argue with that although the King wouldn't be far behind.

Is that a joke?

Points wise you are barely out of reach of everton and we had just as bad a start if not worse. Our team that played man city cost a grand total of 25million. The king spent more than that on carroll.

Hard to argue against Pulis.

Kenny, shouldn't get it, not been here long enought, but definitely agree with Pulis! He's done a great job this season.

Given we are taking FA Cup final into consideration I'd rather reserve judgement until the end of the season.

Obviously judging a manager on the basis of a single game is a bit harsh but I'd say if Fergie wins the league and CL then he would get my vote. If he fails and Stoke win the FA Cup then give it to Pulis.

Say Stoke lose the cup final how about a shout for Alex McLeish? Winning the Carling Cup and keeping Birmingham in the premiership isn't a bad achievement, granted his transfers have been a little iffy though.

McLeish did really well winning the Carling Cup but just keeping a team that has done that (and with the quality they have) in the Premier league doesn't warrent Manager of the Season for me.

If Fergie wins the Champions League I'm inclined to say him, although if Pulis wins the FA cup it may be hard to say which one, maybe Fergie would edge it.

Thought about it but just don't think they have done enough in the league of late. Always been a tough to beat '1-0' outfit but the wins seem to have dried up and personally I wouldn't say still being at risk of relegation with 2 games to go is a good result for a side that isn't newly promoted. Certainly not up to the standard of Fergie.

In terms of long shots I toyed with the idea of Owen Coyle who has made Bolton quite effective at times but having got creamed in the semifinal probably put paid to that idea. I think he has done well from a management perspective if you look at shrewd loans like Sturridge and helping to develop more of a passing game.

Of course it's not a joke. Dalglish has taken what you guys claimed was a midtable quality squad to 5th in the league, without the 2 men (for the most part) that you guys used to claim made up our 2 man team.

Since he took over (he's been here for nearly half the season too), we're only 2nd to Chelsea on points gained.

So he should, he had and spent 50 million. As I said Everton until very recently were clinging to you despite losing supposedly one of our best players, and not spending 50 million. We have also had far more injury worries.

I'm trying to find a league table for the day Daglish took over?

To be honest and the same goes for us, the lack of quality in the league this year has flattered both managers recovery in the league.

Let's not forget for all the points Liverpool may have picked up under Dalglish it was still him in charge when the were knocked out of Europe, the FA Cup and their defeats at Blackpool, West Ham & West Brom

Manager of the season after 4 months? Really?

Kenny Dalglish gets my vote for the turnaround of LFC because heres a table since he took over .

1 Chelsea 15 11 2 1 30 9 21 35

2 Liverpool 16 9 3 3 30 12 18 33

3 Manchester United 16 9 2 4 28 14 14 32

4 Arsenal 15 7 6 1 26 14 12 27
