Eeek! I stand corrected.

Still think its madness - success at Chelseas has to be instant and frankly if they slip out the top 4 while Potter tries to ingrain his philosophy then he'll probably be fired before next season!

You can't deny that, the AVG Chelsea manager only gets 18-24 months. Mourinho being the exception!

Really hope Jurgen doesn't go. He needs time, like he had at the start, to turn it around. Admittedly he hasn't been too clever in the transfer market with regards to the midfield.

Someone in another thread mentioned its related to the competition for each position is and that was a really good point.

Klopp sack stocks rising, was only me and another previously

I don't think it is likely at all but if Klopp went FSG would deserve H&G treatment

I don't think there is a single chance he's even in contention, this season will be converter to a transition season for pool, and they will accept the midfield needs to be rebuilt now.

It sounds like Tuchel and the new Chelsea owners didn't see eye to eye on many things, so it was always a fractious relationship.

They wanted their own man in who they can bounce ideas off and work with, and Potter gives them that. He will need time though.

Would be good to have an English manager operating at the elite level.

Looking at the situation, I don't know why Chelsea went for Potter? He's won a few games this season, his track record as a Premier league manager is average at best?

Comes across like another Nuno at Spurs.

Unsure if you're joking...have you researched him and seen what he has actually done?

He has performed miracles on a super low budget and turned Brighton into a top half Premier League club. BRIGHTON. Plus his hard work with Swansea.

He won three promotions and the Svenska Cupen with Östersund, leading them to the 2017–18 UEFA Europa League knockout stage.

I mean they wouldn't deserve that,if results got really bad its owners choice to sack.

People moan FSG don't invest yet seem to ignore they have in stadium, training ground etc.

Don't get me wrong, they have made errors but there are far worse owners

I doubt it’ll be any current PL manager, current front runner on the betting is Kjetil Knutsen who is a manager in Norway.

Not sure who I want, it’s all happened relatively quickly. I trust Bloom and the team to pick someone to continue the progression we’ve seen in the past few seasons.
