Bielsa would be a fantastic signing for Everton if they did get relegated. He could rebuild from the championship. I think Everton will get relegated even with Dyche.
Bielsa wanted to bring eight backroom staff with him and work with the under 21s until the end of the season then step into the first team manager role.

Great idea in principle, but dosent help with our current predicament.

there is a man who thinks relegation is inevitable and doesn't want to be blamed for his predecessors' (and wider) failures

I think that isn't as bad as it would seem. I honestly cannot see Everton staying up this season even with Dysche. Apart from Bournemouth and Southampton I cannot see any of the teams above Everton having a worse season. I guess Bielsa can see that.

I guess it's a case of rolling the dice with Dyche and if they go down, they can look elsewhere for somebody to rebuild with. I was always fairly sure Everton would stay up last season but I'm struggling to see how they can this time. I mentioned the other week, Richarlison and Goodison (and Burnley being ****) saved Everton last season - Richarlison's gone and the atmosphere at Goodison is more toxic than I can ever remember.

If relegation is inevitable, then surely you'd rather watch Bielsa's brand of football than Dyche?

Have to feel for Everton fans. From winning the league with Ancelotti to a relegation battle with Dyche within the space of a few years..

Did Everton win the league? Have I missed something?

They are going down, who they put in the job makes little difference. Bielsa is ****. You have a bunch of Everton players who need quick answers, you are not getting that from someone who cannot communicate. Every thing I have heard about his training at Leeds was a **** show of players getting confused with what he wanted. Young players coming up to train with the first team being left bewildered and running about just copying the first teamers because he couldn't get his message across in real time. Over rated championship crap. What am I saying, appoint him Everton!

Sorry couldn't help myself.

edit: On a serious note though, Dyche is basically the best appointment they can make to try and salvage the season. Its just going to be grim to watch.

On the optimistic side, Howe has similar record with Bournemouth to Dyche with Burnley in the PL? in terms of finishing on the table Dyche is marginally ahead as they made it into Europe once and when Howe took over Newcastle in around the same time 12 months ago.....I did raise an eye brow or 2 as well, look how good they turned out.

So.....never say never.

(yes i know they play different style of football)

I don't think he can save them. Odd length of contract. They should have given him a shorter deal for more money because we all know they are just waiting for Moyes to get the sack.
