Would be very surprised if Poch took over but you never know. Might fancy a bit of a project. Issue is that they have 0 chance of winning anything of note and hes a top manager who could be somewhere that is a possibility.

A bit of a stretch to say Poch had a stacked team at the time. In Europe, they were competing with some crazy sides, Real Madrid and City were what I would call stacked.

In the Premier League, there were numerous sides with a more stacked team.

City were not as good as Spurs during that period player for player. This was Pre-Pep days. I remember over a calendar year they had the most points or something to that degree. He bottled the league twice in 15/16 and 16/17.

They had Kyle Walker, Toby and Jan Belgium CB partnership, Trippier, Dembele, Wanyama, Eriksen, Dele Alli, Son and Kane.

I like Poch, he's not amazing but he's a good manager and a nice guy. Not sure he'd fancy a relegation battle... his stock is still fairly high.

Seems odd timing, didn't just buy 4 or so players in the transfer window which look like Jesse signings.

Well all signings are made by Orta but there was definitely influence by Marsch as a few were from on previous clubs. Adams and Wober were great signings. Aaronson (Bielsa wanted him) and Kristianson not so much but they were great before coming to us so I’d like to think a good coach would get the best out of them.

We have a really good squad, so much young attacking talent, Gnonto, Summerville, Rutter and Sinisterra. Roca, Adams and McKennie behind.
We just needs a good coach to implement a structure and identify. There is no way we are worst than a lot in the league.
