Auto correct! My phone called him Jack originally!

Yep, Rafa/Nuno surely a better call and a nice bonus for keeping us up is surely a good incentive. But our board are a joke for a reason :)
If you hate your board, then Rafa is the perfect manager for you. He loves pointing rabid fans at the owners. :D

Backing of the board = 2 weeks' notice (or less), isn't it?
Pretty much. Board backing Moyes too :D

He did a good job with Watford, so got to take the positives. We have a much stronger chance of survival with a proven PL manager over a caretaker who hasn't managed a team before. Southampton is a must win.
Didn't he have a massive losing streak that meant Watford gave him the heave ho? Poor end to one season, continued suit the next and cheerio! It was odd though as overall they'd done ok the last season and they punted him after what 3 games or something like that.

Yeah sounds right although you don't really know the reasons, it's Watford too, their board are nuts.

That would be an interesting thread of its own: which club has the most nuts board?
Yeah, start one :)

I'm getting more enthused by Gracia's appointment after reading about his history and play style. I guess the biggest compliment is that no Watford fan wanted him sacked, and they consequently spiraled when he departed after finishing 14th and 11th in the PL. Fingers crossed, he can sort the mess out as we have a squad worthy of PL status.

I was absolutely convinced Rodgers would be gone but he's now only 5th favourite to get the boot next. Still, they are only 3pts ahead of 19th place so could get dragged back into the mud if they aren't careful.

They can't afford to sack him from what I hear.

I called him as first to be sacked last season but he surprised me how well he did. Seems like time has caught up with him though. Can't say I watch them enough to really know what has happened since the world cup.
