I called him as first to be sacked last season but he surprised me how well he did. Seems like time has caught up with him though. Can't say I watch them enough to really know what has happened since the world cup.

I do feel for managers like Viera because they have an alright set of players but they seem to have two choices. Try to play good football and potentially lose a lot of games in the pursuit of something better or try to play to their strengths and sit middle of the pack and just exist. I wonder if Zaha eventually leaving Palace will be a blessing or a curse as well.

As a palace fan watching us this season has been extremely frustrating. Not sure who they can bring in who will be able to make a massive difference. We need to splash some cash on players this summer.

Vieria has been let down by the attackers imo and the fact parish wont splash cash your 12th in the league where do the board expect you should be? The likes of west ham, leeds, everton etc spent bucket loads and are below you

I went to the Amex on Wednesday, they offered very little outside the first 10mins. It’s almost like they didn’t have a game plan, not sure what’s gone wrong because they were playing some decent stuff before.

Letting Schmeichel leave and starting Ward on the last match of last season was the point at which I went "hang on a minute"
This was a total disaster, especially as Nick Pope was available before he went to Newcastle.

At this point, I would get rid of Brenda, it will cost more than £10m if we get relegated.

We also didnt sign a cheaply available Lookman who did well for us the season before on loan, our summer decision making was the worst.

What's with managers getting sacked just before playing us. Let's hope they aren't as up for it as Everton were for 1 game this season.
I was thinking it was a bit weird timing just before Arsenal away, because probably he'll get good backing from the home fans, songs about him etc. Maybe doesn't give the best impression for the board to have the name of person they've just axed booming round the stadium.

Vestergaard has so far turned down two loan moves away. I think bertrand has been injured most of the time since he joined. :( Both were Rodgers signings not from our scouts.
I never got why two players in the squad hammered 9-0 and then beaten in a cup final were suddenly recruited when they were creaking, past their prime, and clearly not what was needed as a fit for the wider squad. Mind you there is precedent. Slimani. Akinbiyi. For every Mahrez and Kante there is a counterbalance I guess.
