lol, he was always entertaining. he's another weird player, right before he stopped playing he actually had a run of superb performances, not a clue how thats physically possible or why. But I think back to games where he was shoved back in defence and cringe, liability in midfield, scary when at the back.

Has no one said Quashie in this thread? relegated with , 70 odd clubs(might be a very slight exageration there), utterly hopeless. Talents include, being kinda bit and a bit fat, odd shaped head and ugly as sin, inabilty to pass, shoot, tackle or defend.

Is he still at West Ham, anyone know what kind of wages he is on, another star Curbishley buy............

Oh yes. I can't quite remember his performances but I've read from different sources he was a terrible player. Can someone confirm this?

I don't think there are that many "good" players in the league, i think there are a lot of average players, most of the top 10 or so have a few "good" players and the top 4 have more "good" players then the rest.

Championship is a far better league

I think Bramble is being used as a scapegoat really, especially in his Newcastle days because the people around him were just as bad if not worse (Boumsong/Taylor).

I watched the Chelsea vs Wigan game earlier this year and for me, Bramble was the best player on the park.

I'll always remember him as a fantastic goalscorer for us, when he went to Chelsea though. Career sort of nosedived didn't it?
