What utter rubbish. both penalties were correct. The first Yakubu took the ball around Howard and Howard brought him down. The second Lescott clearly had his arms up and handled it.

And to say we were played off the park. We should have been 3 or 4 up when we scored our second. Yakubu scored and misssed a pen, Cattermole missed a sitter and the yak was through on goal and blasted it over.

Everton, bar the goal, created bugger all up front. Huth had Johnson in his back pocket all game. Beattie spent most the match with his hands on defenders climbing all over their backs then fall over and trying to claim a pen.

Created bugger all? Most of the game was in your half arteta had loads of the ball and we played it around on the ground confidently. Both penalties and goals were against the run of play.

Huth was great but viduka was lazy as hell and the other forward is appalling.

Were you actually at the game and were you watching the same one I did? The first penalty Howard clearly got the ball, the second one was fair enough though. We had far more of the ball but sadly couldn't create any decent chances.

You're having a laugh saying you should have been "3 or 4 up". Apart from a dubious penalty the only thing boro did in the first half was either shoot well wide or hit it straight at Howard.

The first pen was just on Sky and Howard got nothing off the ball! We also should have had a pen when Yobo lost the ball in the box to Yakubu and Yobo then took Yaks feet away.

Shot well wide or hit it at the keeper, a lot more then Everton managed! Yakubu and Cattermole both should have scored. Yak was through on goal and cattermole only had Howard to beat. And yaks missed pen makes it three chances we should have taken. Add that to the two goals then 3 or 4 sounds reasonable to me.

For all your possession you did bugger all with it. We still managed to create more chances then you. Maybe the difference in the game was that our back four were on song and well yours was well below par.

I wonder if they are both laid next to each other?

Cech: "Fancy seeing you here, what you here for?"
Cudicini: "Concussion, you?"
Cech: "Same. Who went in goal when you got injured?"
Cudicini: "Terry"
Cech: "Terry who?"

etc..

Feel for both keepers. It's rare that two such injuries occur twice in one game to both the starting and replacement goalies.

Was absolutely classic to see Terry in a baggy Chels' keeping shirt with gloves on between the sticks. :p :D.... :o
He didn't have a save to make though?

If they're both not passed fit to play in the week, it would have to be Pidgeley I'm guessing provided he was registered in the CL squad, right?

Hope both are back in action asap though.

Pidgeley moved to Millwall in the summer (Not a loan move either). These only Hilaro and isn't he injured at the moment?

According to the BBC website:

Yeah just reading this now there is an update on the chelsea website

Chelsea website said:
Petr Cech will be spending Saturday night in hospital under observation. Carlo Cudicini, who was initially taken to hospital, has been discharged. The two keepers were carried off on stretchers after collisions with Reading players during Saturday evening’s Premiership game.

Everyone at Chelsea Football Club wishes both Petr and Carlo the speediest of recoveries from their injuries.

I can't remember anyone calling Bellamy or Pennant world class.
After today its not looking great, we need to get back to keeping clean sheets like last year. Only positive is that we're not as far behind as we were this time last year

We need to get back to playing like this ;)

So do England for that matter. Pass and move, it's that simple. :)
