Had the bonds for just under 4 years, and got the full amount from the get go. Back then interest rates were garbage, so premium bonds looked like the best option compared to ISAs and savings accounts. Returns have been average, or slightly below average, and the only reason I've kept them going is that they are tax free.Nice

No. Only thing that makes a difference is how many you buy. Any pattern you try to buy them in makes no difference whatsoever.

Why aren't you filtering it into high interest rate ISAs?
That just means I'm in with a chance thenDamn it's a leap year - I would have had the £1m if it wasn't -Tomorrow no chance.

This premium bonds are good to hold cash for a year but you should keep dumping £20k a year into ISA of some sort really....

Have we had any big winners in here? Most we've had from a single bond it £500 a few times. Biggest monthly win was around £1k
