Honestly, I am not a dad but I have a sister who is almost 16 and I would be very sceptical and look down upon some 19 year old dating her.

Same here, if some 19yo came after my sister I'd not be even slightly impressed. I'd probably act the same way as the girls dad.

OMG!!!

Its an OCUK record

A thread this long about a girl and there is not one single TTIUWOP and its lots of poages long

Weird =/

Neoni just try do something to make the dad feel loved, like bring him a computer game if hes in to that kind of thing :D :)

hehe i dare you to sit next to the stepdad, stroke his leg and tell him your seeing his stepdaughter just to spend time with him. ;)

let us know the outcome! :D

my dad would have words with any 19 year old guy if i was only 16 and wanting to shag him. :o

I dont understand the whole younger approach either,i always pull birds the same age as me.....the one justnow being an exception.

Granted,opinions are just that...

Do you not find at 16 she isn't as mature as yourself, hasn't been through parts of life you have been through i.e higher education/full time work etc.

Do you not go out for a night out or a quiet drink in a pub beause she isnt of age?

Would younot rather have a woman of the same age as yourself or do you feel most want somethings thats too serious? (marriage, kids and settling down in a house of your own)

Even 17 year olds I meet seem to be less wise and 'experienced' with the world than even 18 year olds.

I really can not imagine what that must be like to cope with. Its all 'she said he said' at that age still.

No offense, but it just doesn't seem right to me.
I think 18 is a barrier, and you shouldn't see people on the other side of that barrier. 23->16 is just... :/

I do agree but if you are happy, your happy!

Just if your 23 you've finished high school, college and university and worked for 2 years, while she hasn't even finished high school (possibly by that age). That's a whole lot of maturing there - I can see that in myself from 16 to 20.
