Next week I am getting sentenced for GBH - know I'll be going down but not sure for how long. Getting to me now big time and pretty much crapping it. See on other threads a few people on here know people who've been in. If you have any idea what it's really like or is it as easy as people say would be good to know.

I got no idea what its like mate, i have a feeling the reputation is played up a lot by the media but i dont know. Theres various stories of people liking it cos its easy, a lot say that they hate it. Could be cos youre confined so much, or there could be other reasons. Hopefully someone here 1st hand or 2nd hand knows.

Bring a book, the change of scene means you need to focus your attention on things you otherwise would ignore. I have not been to a prison for a crime, but do have some insight into liberties being taken away.
