Private plates?

I just have T9 + my initials, it looks neat and hides the age of the car (and was a birthday present, so I didn't buy it!) :)

Pete's plate is better though.

I really can't see the point in spending lots on private plates unless you have the money to burn...and quite often, people that have them, don't.

I personally don't see the point as it doesn't make sense to me to spend hundreds of pounds on two small plastic rectangles. Imo the money could be used to upgrade most cars in a much more useful way.

does seem like a bit of a waste of money, but if it's your money i suppose you can do what you like. the only ones which do make me shake my head with dismay are one's like i saw the other day - they had a bloody MASSIVE hi-lux style thing and the number plate was BIG KEV. small **** more like.

No it wasn't...

Boss has V8 *** and V12 *** for the Range Rover and Vanquish.

I have H8 DUP, casue people H8 me:D :(

Was a gift for my 21st, less vein that D8 DUP. All my initials are D.

Colossal waste of money in my opinion. Also it seems to add an element of 'kick me' to a car when it's parked in not so nice areas

I will be getting S3 YLL shortly (yellow S3), its cheap enough, hides the age and adds a little something when I come to sell it with the car.

S3 YLO or S3 YLW not take your fancy?

I was thinking about M400 TUB or M400 AGW for mine a while back but I don't think I'll bother now. I like the standard plate (BRP y0) and there are always more important things to blow £250 on.

Here in Gibraltar, the only private plates allowed are numbers G-1 through to G-4999

I should have *never* parted company with G-1337. All plates only cost £100, but got offered a *bit* more than that privately to keep it on the car I was selling.

B1G KEV then, or some other almost identical combination of characters which satisfy your tedious pedantry.

I bet you have a goatee.

The closest would be B16 KEV which is registered to a Vauxhall Omega or B19 KEV which is registered to a Kia, so I'm calling shenanigans on your anecdote.
