Hell of a stage on the corkscrew today, loved every minute of that last 20km.

WRT Caleb Ewan, he looks good but not sure he's really proper world tour level just yet, I imagine he must be in near peak form from the Aussie Nationals etc, whereas most are just getting warmed into the season so to speak.

Watched the highlights earlier. Cracking finish with lot of top riders with different abilities at the end.

Ewan will be there over next few years. He seems to be quite an intelligent rider and in the right places quite often which will definitely help him out!

Fantastic spring from caleb ewan on that last stage. To come from a way back and dominate! No point locking to that wheel with his small profile.

Just watched the final of the elite men. What a race by Van aert considering his tangle! Well deserved champ. Also a shame the controversy has overshadowed the fact that the u23 women's winner was British!

Cross is ridiculous - love my early year fix since dsicvering it three years ago at Richmond. I feel for Van Der Haar - can't help but want to support his tiny rame next to "giants" around him. WVA clearly the strongest after leading for the first half, losing 30s in the incident and still being strongest on the last climb

Her first ever race abroard too!

The riders are mental, their ability not only physically but skill wise is immense. It's a great event to ride in, although highly depressing with the way in which the top riders go past you! Got a couple of world champs in the vet50s category ride in our local series which is a joy to watch, their so fluid!

Well, subtracted, but yeah. What I don't get is how you'd decide who got the Jersey on the third day if, for example, someone came first on the first day and second on the second day and someone else did the opposite.

In that case would probably be the one who won the first stage, or a coin toss.

Great couple of races over the weekend! Omloop not as interesting as last year, but as least KBK had a fantastic finish. Well deserved wins in both races for different reasons. I'm predicting a wet Paris Roubaix already (hoping :D )

Strade Bianche this Saturday doesn't look like live coverage but highlights on Eurosport_UK from 4.45.

Paris Nice starts this Sunday and Tirreno-Adriatico the following Wednesday! Both of which have some strong riders.

Dumoulin to lead giant alpecin at paris nice, g Thomas for sky.

Nibali, sagan and cav all racing at Tirreno-Adriatico.

Awesome race.
Delighted with the win with it being final year and he gets a dirt road named after him now :D I seriously thought Stybar had the measure of him coming over the top of the climb into the finish, I think he was just massively spent coming over the climb he just didn't have that 0.1% left in him to make a go of it. The stronger man won on the day and what a win it was. Brilliant to watch.

Great finish again this year. Well deserved to fabian. Thought stybar had it with galibria up the road but just couldn't dig that little bit extra. Plus very tight finish didn't help.

Looking forward to some stage racing this week!

Cracking win for Lizzie too, she's dominating the women's events at the moment.

Absolutely. Hope she carries it all thru the year. Altho sort of hope for some challengers as nobody has gotten near her for a while.

Paris Nice was good for a fairly flat stage. Think the gravel sections in the final 20k had something to do with it! :-P

Cav 20 minutes down with just Renshaw to tow him home yday.

Overdid it at track World Cup maybe or saving it for today's stage?

The latter for sure! :D Only real chance for them this week. Great finish to yesterdays stage, perfect timing by Stybar! Was more brutal than they made out that final few k's would be.
