Pro Cycling Discussion 2016

I can't pick someone to win this weekend, last weekend was Sagan or Fab for sure.

I'd pick the above two, but I think Etixx will be in the mix and Sky more than last weekend as PR can be more of a team race. Trek have a good team too but Sagan is a little alone it seems, I'd put Boom in the same camp Astana don't seem to have much.

Both Lotto teams are good being from Belgium. With Sep being a proven podium but he won't win a sprint so I can't see him being on the top step. Benoot having crashed last weekend hard won't be at his best, so top 5 is the best Lotto B can hope for I think, but they have a couple of other good riders.

Not sure about Kristoff, Katusha have gone OK but I can see him missing the split at the end again but going top 10.

So I've picked the second placed man so far in MSR and ToF, I've predicted Stybar for this week. So if you want to win some money put him down as an each way :P

Also cmon Berger you're slipping, he hasn't moved yet :P

What a fantastic race, got in from club run about 11.45 and put it on and watched it about 90-% end to end fast forwarding some sections, although I was trying to lace up a wheel for the first time for the first 90 or so minutes which passed the time whilst the breaks went away and came back.

Thoroughly deserving win for Hayman, shame Stannard couldn't pull it off, glad boassan hagen didn't win, usually cheer him on, but he done nothing today.

Henao pulled from racing again due to bio passport...

Right after I put him in my fantasy team for today!!

Just seen this, I don't see it with the amount sky invested in him considering he almost had a year out. They had a personal soigneur with him for his time in colombia then told him he had to stay in majorca permanently until he was back racing last year.

He wouldn't treat the women any differently to the men, they would all be treated in the same bad way, which is why we have been so successful, you don't win anything being nice in todays sporting world. Imagine Alex Ferguson or Brian Clough coaching, they would treat everyone the same but it would be harsh.

Anyway moving on Tour De Romandie has been good, Zakkarin looking strong again, although bit of illness has taken a few riders out. Quintana looking good, but Sky look quite tired!

Don't forget too! Tour De Yorkshire tomorrow! Live on ITV4 with Highlights at 19:00! Can't wait, was a great 3 day race last year.

Kruijswijk is a serious man to watch. One of my favourite climbers, he is usually so strong as GT's progress and moves up the GC, but even today he was right there I couldn't believe he was that LJ jersey crossing the line when he did!

Very happy to see Dumoulin back in the pink jersey. Double Dutch :cool:

Absolutely, getitng better year on year, just always there at the thick end, just shame his team isn't as strong as others to support. Great win for Greipel yesterday, showed his diversing capabilities to win a finish like that.

Be interesting to see Dumoulin today, going to assume he'll stay in touch looking to bag some huge time games at the weekend!

Well that stage looked absolutely horrendous today.

Some good rides and some not so good as expected. Roglic win was great to see after the first stage miss. He's only been pro 5 years!

Great ride by Landa to limit his losses, probably helped by the conditions. Also by Brambilla to hold onto pink!

Dumoulin looked devastated and nibali more than likely expected to take more time. Zakkarin definitely had a day to forget!

Great stage yesterday. Looking forward to the weekend stages! Surprised Amadour didn't take more time. Just please please anybody but Nibali or Valverde.
