Pro Evolution 2011

I've played it on the pc today.

Last years was beta vesion 10.00.

This years version is beta 10.01.

Absolute garbage.

So many of the major annoyances from last years beta have not been improved on, the a.i. is still extremely poor.

I've had enough after playing 12 or 13 matches of the become a legend mode.

Off course that is my opinion and maybe it's better on the consoles ...

Tempted to buy this for offline if its better - FIFA 11s kinda makes me feel numb...

Love to hear opinions from people who have played both (not demos)

It wont be as the pc version is ported.
 
I've had a couple of matches, to be honest I think it's really good this year. I've not played Fifa yet but I wasn't a fan of the last one.
 
went with a mate to pick it up from asda at 12. Played it for 3 hours straight. For the first time since fifa 08 can i say that pes has equalled or bettered fifa!. I love fifa 11 but i also really love this game. This year its too hard to choose, and i guess that's a good thing :D

ps we tried offline masterleague mode, but i couldn't play with him on the same team. Was that a bad gltich or is that how ML is now?
 
Woohoo just arrived on my desk, badly want to go home and play now! Looking forward to starting a new become a legend mode :D So glad I decided to stick with PES, I'd have felt like a traitor otherwise!
 
Trading in Fifa 11 today for this :)

Played the demo loads and also played against my m8 at the expo and imo it's far better than Fifa 11.

Mind elaborating? What's so good about PES (or bad about Fifa) this time around? Haven't played either yet...
 
Ive been reading some really good reports about Pro Evo 2011 which is just typical when i decided i wasnt going to spend £35 on it this year as last year was sooo bad. Now im unsure if i should buy it or not :(
 
Sure, Fifa also has it's problems, but it is better than this ghastly tripe.

Over the last few years, it has shown the lack of effort/unskilled how the devs are at the PES department.

They can't even be bothered to include a slower game speed option, for those who find the default tempo too fast and unrealistic ... the option is there to increase the game speed though ... makes sense

Beta after beta releases is not good enough ...
