word for word what i did, but initially i did download another option file with 450 odd files in it and copied them over.

I then used the file that you linked and did the same so there might be an issue there. I wouldn't think so because the files I copied over the second time never asked me to overwrite any files, but you never know, so that'll be my hour tonight to delete them, 30 mins to copy them back and then an hour of me being glum playing Manchester United Vs Man Blue!

Yeah just what I would do is delete all the custom PES files that you have on the PS3, then go back to your PC, delete whatever ones you have on your USB drive, put the ones from the link onto your USB drive and then just copy them over. Should work first time, it did for me. I wish that the PS3 had a select all function or something, it takes forever! :(
 
it's not looking good. It's a new PS3 so after 2 minutes of triangle, left, x, circle, down and repeat i just wiped the ps3 and started again

Different message this time. Something about the data being the wrong version so it was unable to load

It's on version 1.02

to be honest it's no biggy. I just remember a version of PES on the PS2 i had which is still the greatest patch for PES ever. The intro were the highlights of the Champions League Final - Liverpool Vs Milan and the games had all the proper chants. Chants are were it's at :D

I think they've taken one of the Man Utd chants out in a patch. :p

I remembered hearing the one about Solskjaer with Alan Shearer was ****ing dearer... doesn't seem to be in the game anymore.

That's a joke right? :p

Fifa isn't exactly the best realistic portrayal of football but I get absolutely bored stiff by PES it's unbelievable. The game is for masochists, it's like playing football on the moon ffs. Everyone has the turning circle of a barge and no matter how quick your play is the defenders always go into super turbo mode when they're off the ball. I know it's harder to run with the ball than without, but this just takes the ****.
