Oh, I'm plenty good enough at football games. I was amazing at the old PES, this is just terrible compared.

couldn't agree more. I tried the demo and was shocked at how badly it plays compared to fifa. It's lacking any degree of polish as well. Really bad konami!!

PES has been atrocious since PES6. The last PES game I enjoyed was the one Konami did on the original xbox. It's ironic that PES used to be the sim and Fifa the arcade experience, now they're the other way around. Anyone who thinks PES is in the same ball park has blinkers on...

IGN have almost always given PES games a high review since after PES6 and they have been pap. I remember the awful one (was it Pes8?) that scored highly and had the IGN advertising in the game.

I've gone off these games since PES6, I loved that it was a fun game to play. Fifa is a much better all round game but I never had half the fun playing any of them I did on Pes6.

I thought the PES demo was 'pap' after playing the FIFA one but perhaps it was an old build and they improved it? I wouldn't mind a go just to find out, but I imagine it's not much different.

After playing both demo's imo it was clear that PES was the better FOOTBALL game yet I still purchased and now regret buying FIFA 11 this morning due to it's low cost.

IMO the recent World cup game get's it virtually spot on (ish) but EA decided it would **** up with Fifa 11
