Problem with my 5090

dudes entire account is posting issues with everything he owns, reminds me of i think it was the polish guy back in 2020 posting here about constant issues, maybe just send it back and buy a ps5 :D
"Hey my guys - My £5000 PC is dropping 0.01% of a frame every 2 hours, plz help"

Edit: Swerino or something?

Yep... "Guys, I left a game idling on the menu for 112 hours and it crashed to desktop, now there are things in event viewer, which part should I replace?" :D
Those always cracked me up.

hhahaa no way, this is my final lesson, no more stupid things with my gpu

Guys... I don't know if something happened, or if it just comes like this. Don't you notice the PCB is slightly bent? Is this specific model, or did I mess it up?

Most 5090's are very big and heavy cards, you went for a top tier one with an extremely large and heavy cooling solution.

A certain amount of GPU droop is to be expected, it's why they ship them with little stands to prop up the arse end of the card. Frankly, I would be wary of mounting any of the higher end 5090's directly in the socket and would favour a vertical mount/riser -- but they have problems of their own.

Use the prop on the corner furthest from the PCI-E bracket where you plug things into, and furthest from the motherboard pcb/closest to the window.

To be completely frank and a little off topic, the 5090 is a messy throw together of a GPU given how much it costs and made worse by the god awful 12VHPWR connector pushed by Nvidia, it never should have been made part of the ATX 3.X standard and initially wasn't until Nvidia pushed for it.

I think that if you need constant validation regarding a high value purchase, you probably shouldn't have bought it to begin with.

If there's a return window send it back.

Then you probably shouldn't be buying them, someone mentioned this earlier but almost every post on here is you second guessing yourself.

Gather some self confidence, stop looking for problems and attention. I do not intend to be mean but if you are willing to go through with buying a 5090 own it, because if you cannot you probably cannot afford the money you're spending. We can give base advice but we're not a a tech-specific community of shrinks, Chile sounds rough and I sympathise but the more you faff needlessly with a thing the more likely there is going to be a self created problem. Don't do the self fulfilling prophecy ordeal, settle down, set your PC up properly, and enjoy it.
