Problematic Neighbour

Christ, she'd hate to live below me!

When I produce music I tend to have the volume a smidgen over normal, and considering its dubstep there would be a slight vibration from the sub. Which would be a little louder than walking around, but not much.

She seems to be making a mountain out of a molehill just to get back at you, for something that isn't even your fault in the first place!

There are two aspects to this as I see it.

1) Damage caused that needs to be made good
2) A dispute between 2 neighbours

As a landlord I would address 1 but as a landlord I would look to the person in the rent to address 2. I would have course communicate with her landlord to make them aware of my remedial plans for damage I was responsible for, but I don't believe there is any obligation on the landlord to resolve disputes between neighbours. Stand to be corrected, but I believe landlords shouldn't really get involved in disputes between neighbours.

in most tenancy agreements it also states the tenant has the right to enjoy there home without any hassles. (or words to that effect)

it could be construed that if the landlord hasn't attempted to sort the matter then the tennant may have a right to leave before the end of the assured tenancy period.
