few more piccys, not happy with the supposedly yellow led for the raystorm, looks very much orange to me, have contacted co. where i got it from for a replacement, anyway still got a fair bit of wiring to sort.

will get it sorted fully and clean the OP up as a few parts have changed

think i may have a go at braiding ant put a couple of yellow braids in the 24pin and the pci-e cables i think that would look quite good, and need to sell my old system before i purchase 2nd lightning or i may wait for a 8970 lightning

Confused as to why you'd need more than 1L of fluid to be honest if you're only doing the CPU, unless the tubes are going to the Alps and back?

Mine is on GPU + CPU with a 360 rad and takes less than 1L with a 250mm res.

Used 1.75 litres of fluid, none spilt, and used about 1.7m of tube, think the monsta's drank it all!!!

Nice system, what TIM did you use for the cpu?

Thx, liquid metal ultra under ihs and gelid gc extreme on top.

Took bout 10 mins to lap and polish, rads are 80mm, changed waterblock led to stock blue one, which look better than the orange one.
Going to change top tube(long one) to go through the roof/side to show mobo better.

could have got a 420 up top without modding, but they dont do a monsta version!!

3 bays left if you mount rad like this but 1 of those is the hdd hot swap bay. Spose you could mod it to accomadate a dvd drive. I personally dont use a drive 99% of the time so i left it out. Ssd is mounted using velcro on the back side of the case.

Where have you put your hard drives?

Also, can I put a 240 120mm rad in the top instead of a 360?

In the roof you can fit a 120,140,240,280,360,420 (upto 80mm thick, 55mm if going push pull)

I have my mechanical hdd in the hot swap bay(bottom one) and my ssd is velcro'd to the back side of the case.

Cheers. I had finished the build but I decided to replace the HD7850 with 2 watercooled 7970 Lightnings so its back in pieces lol.

i'm after another ltg but its gonna have to wait until after xmas, really gutted i missed pgi's deal, but i'm sure more will come up.

gonna get another rad in too inbetween cpu and gfx, and then re route the long tube from top rad to the aquaero w/b in the roof, just so motherboard is more visable and looks tidier

Thx, and still learning may as well remove them as i want to add a couple of yellow braids here and there, but again it can wait until 2nd gpu goes in.

Is a pin removal tool necessary or is there something else i can use??

You could use needle nose pliers, personally I'd invest in the correct removal tools.

think i will, bit of a stocking filler!!
