Project CARS 3

Disappointing, to say the least.

Whatever this is, it isn't Project Cars 3.
 
It's an absolute embarrassment, called it right from the off months ago. Downgraded in every department and doesn't even do the arcade racer genre any good, far better games out there if you want a controller racer. Codemasters and Ian Bell was always going to be a disaster and it's been proven. I can't believe how backward they have gone with the visuals, why does it look this bad? They have all the cars from previous games, so why is it now looking like a PS3 or even a mobile game??

Baffling to say the least.
 
I hate to speak bad on games but this looks like a total shamble. Is this even the same people that worked on PC1 and PC2? What the bloody hell happened...

I've always said that this has just been rushed of after they got acquired by codemasters. Seems to be very much the case that they have just thrown this out the door with it being quite far off finished. How can cars looks worse than previous games?
 
Sounds like Codema$ter$ are trying to quickly cash in on the Project CARS brand while the Slightly Mad Studio programmers get merged into their mass market, arcade racing world.

Can someone build me a cheap barge pole until it's in a Steam sale for £5? ;)
 
Really enjoying this game, if you like gran turismo and forza you'll like it.
They really should have changed the name though! they would be getting a lot less crap for it.
 
I really liked Shift 2 back in the day and with people saying this feels more like a 'Shift 2' successor has me interested.

Don't want to drop £60+ on the deluxe if it turns out pants, but i'm tempted !:eek:!
 
I love Project Cars 2, (liked PC1 well enough too) but haven't seen anything to make me want PC3.

They really should have called it something else.

Exactly this. Loved PC2 in VR, one of the most intense VR driving games imo, but PC3 is a far cry from PC2 and its ideals.
