Project Corsair 900D

15cm may be a bit small for the 900D, but they aren't that expensive, and they are quite bright so that may be all that is needed. See if anyone else has any opinions on it first though as I don't want to be wasting you any money if you need different sizes :(

Ok so I got the 2 30cm lengths of LED's and no adheasive... SUCKS! Anyway I'll figure something out on that count, at the moment I'm using sellotape.... (shhhh)

Anyway onwards with the photos!

I forgot to clean the CPU loop drain tap until after I looked at this photo....

The whole rig (minus 2 monitors)
The windows gives quite a bit of glare off the LEDs, however in Real Life it's nothing like as bad...

I am glad you made the most of the 900D's space. Changed my mind about the case a little more. Still think it looks like an old sony tv from the side IMO.

I've yet to see an LED strip that will stick, even the BitFenix ones just fall off, super glue them on i do now. :)

That's strange :S I looked back at my order history to see if i ordered something different but no...

that's what i have. i just peeled off the backing and stuck it to my case.

Although I did get it in April last year so my memory could be deceiving me and I may have used double sided tape (which is a good solution) :P

Reminder to self...

450rpm is NOT enough to keep 2 titan's cool playing Metro Last Light....

They did only go up to 58c but my rads were hot to the touch...

Whacking all the fans onto full dragged all the temps back down in just under 2 mins tho....

After setting up my Aquaero, and removing the bottom side panels to improve air flow:

I'm not getting anything above 50c. Which is awesome.

Gaming Metro Last Light cpu - 37c, GPU's 49c & 44c seems pretty good to me

Fans still running under 1000rpm so still super quiet.

Why do you need 32 gig of 2133 Ram? Do you need it for work or something...that's a whole pile of fast ram for Metro :p
I have 32GB of RAM for 1 real reason, 16GB of ram with the Ram blocks on just didn't look right.

And I didn't really want to use 8x2gb sticks.

Oh it's pretty. How you getting on with the Strike ? I've been tempted a few times to splash out is that the 5 or 7 ?

It's the Strike 7.

It has really nice tactile feel (for a rubber dome keyboard).

I also like the fact that I can drop the Arrorw keys & num pad off it, so I can game "narrower".

But still have them easily available to use.

(I also have a Razer Orbweaver Stealth, an MMO 7 & a corsair m65).

(I just can't use the MMO7 for FPSs
