Gurdas I take it your dad works at the Vauxhall plant then, and I am guessing youre not in Luton but one of the Villages north of there.
I vaguely know Letchworth (being near Harpenden myself) but am unaware of any Chrome platers, I will be needing some chroming on a car restoration - bumpers , mirrors etc so could you name these people please ?

You are right, I dont live in Luton anymore thank god:D As for the chrome platers in Letchworth, here is their info.

Thanks Gurdas, when you go to get your chrome bits or next speak to the guys there can you ask if they have a tank big enough to handle a car bumper (old VW beetle guessing about 5 feet long)

soz gurdas i was in rays account, yea i cant wait to see the finished product, like the rest of the peeps ere too, Hurry it up!!!

(even though great work cannot be rushed, lol)

VIRII, I will ask them when I go drop off the parts on Monday.

Hey myron, well im going to give the parts on Monday so im waiting on them really. Due to someone not paying me back soon, I have had to put the anodising the aquatube on hold until I can get the money some how.

No prob,
my dad just gave me some O rings for the barbs, I will use PTFE tape aswell just as an extra caution measure. You can see the rings if you look closely in this picture. The spares are also in the shot so you can see how big they are.

Another update, radiator plate pretty much finished, edges are curved to the same degree of the aquatube plate. Just need to drill big holes and mounting holes but that will be done after it gets chromed. It will have the same configuration of holes as the aquatube plate with matching bolts to keep a degree of uniformity.
