Considering the amount of PCI-E slots you have, you have 2 issues - 1) You're going to have to fork out for another Titan should you ever wish to SLI (Prob cheaper going for some 690s), and 2) You will need a new PSU should you ever go SLI as the minimum for a Titan is 600w and you're not too far over it.

Great build, must have cost a small fortune! DTTW indeed!! And never have I seen so many PCI slots...

those seasonic 860s could power a small town they are increadbly effeciant and the 12v rail is huge 3 titans would be fine on it let alone 2

Your graphics card cost £870. Yeah, my missus wouldn't be thrilled either. Nice specification aside from the price :)

Thanks, missus is ok about it, mainly because she doesn't know the price of a titan though :D

Nice to see a Switch build! Should be a nice clean build, look forward to seeing how this turns out.

Thanks! I'm looking forward to building it.

Cheers, no plans to SLI in the near future, if the day ever comes when I can afford to drop another grand on a titan i'm sure i'll probably invest in a slightly bigger PSU. I am planning on getting a sound card and capture card at some point so the PCI slots will come in handy. Plus the 810 is so big a normal atx kind of looks small in it.

whats your budget ?

ive always loved the look of that motherboard :D

Thanks, I love the look of the MB, I think its a bit marmite with the stick on bullets but since it will be a FPS machine I think it looks awesome.
Don't really have a budget as I'm doing it in stages, watercooling next. Think I have spent £2700 so far and I still need to get monitors and watercooling.

how many monitors are you planning to have ?

Not sure, im undecided if I want to run 3 x 24" or just 1 really good quality 27", I think the latter would be more practical, maybe add a 24" at the side at some point for multi-tasking.

I officially have hardware envy... :(

I have to ask, with the recent rumours surrounding the LACK of future upgrades to S2011, and your lack of wanting to go SLI, why are you going for that platform rather than going down the 1155 route? There are some VERY good 1155 boards out there, and for gaming the 3770k performs better than than the 3820 - albeit marginally.

You could very easily find yourself with kit that you can;t upgrade IF the rumours about what comes next are true. A 3820 will be worth next to nothing second hand as it's the chip to get you into the platform, not one to upgrade to. Personally I'd only choose 2011 over 1155 for the multicore capability and SLI scalability - neither of which you are considering.

Cool looking board though. I do LOVE the look of them - bullets pending...
