Project Ethos & Cube - Desk Awesomeness

A little taste on what I have been working on currently...

Its going to take awhile before I'm fully done with this, but I think the results will speak for themselves.

Hehe it will come soon...

Finished painting the mobo tray.
Still have some more stitching to do.

Was hoping for more time over Christmas but was really busy, unfortunately.

Any updates?

Hehe sorry man.

Started a new job and lots of changes.

Project isn't dead.
Still need to finish up the cable stitching (man what a pain).

I have clean out the loop and changed to a UV Blue now, will take some pics.
Got a UV strip as well and a switch for it.
So need to mount both of them.

But I'm thinking of changing to UV Green soon (for team green).

Got a few more cables to tidy up and hide away.

But hopefully should get some proper pics done in April if my brother in-law comes around.

Somehow desk builds have a habit of running long... and the line "project isn't dead" gets used way to much.

As a fellow desk builder (and cable stitcher) I feel your pain. Thank your lucky stars you've only put one graphics card in! took me 6-7 hours stitch my cards together.

Soldier on mate, its totally worth it, really nice build.

Sam.

Thanks dude.

Ye I am debating getting another GPU or changing them fully.

I also have to drain the loop yet again and swap out the Asus VI Formula mobo block as its causing some sort of contamination in my loop I feel.

I have a new EK mobo block here already (arrived today) so need to find some time to drain it all and swap out the mobo block.

I am pretty busy this month, but I want to try sneak some time in this weekend.
I also have decided to try using a different approach regarding the cable stitching so will see how they look ;)

Ye I may not be doing the stitching anymore.

I agree it looks nicer and neater, but man when you have around 300m of cable to stitch I don't think so.

I have found some clips that I am going to test out and see how they look.
Might end up using them instead.
