Project: H2Orange

yeah, im going to take the whole lot to i-series with me, i was gonna just bang some tubing on another build i have, but that would be cheating.

id rather have this 1/2 built but running there. i will just cover it up to stop people kicking the wires etc haha.

this is how im taking it to LAN (no coolant in it, no HDD'S no cable management etc etc.
we did manage to get into bios last night, so hopefully everything should be ok once its all plugged in correctly :)

Just a couple of shots to show how tight the watercooling is - contrast the small amount of pipework on show here to some other builds - subtlety is the keyword here ;)

Love the keyboard, looks great, and really like the orange color. But wow, you sir are brave, I ave never seen anyone actually spray paint their motherboard, and I wouldn't either, looks nice though. Wow, really like the touch screen, I never seen that done before, but honestly I think with my next build, I want to do something like that. Is the a tutorial for that? What kind of spray paint did you use on the keyboard, parts and fan? Sorry about the troubles, but it looks awesome your build, love the white/orange combo, very clean. Have you finished the build??

aaaaaah, thanks muchly guys!

i will have an update soon, im just waiting on sponsors at the moment (one of which is a new one and i havnt even announced yet, but its a goodie!!!!)

mumihp i used plastidip for my motherboard then just some generic spray paint for everything else.

the touch screen i sourced from a friend of mine who managed to get hold of a few of them. He works in the industry and did me a good deal :) No real tutorials for it i dont think as there are loads of different ways to do it i believe.

Long time no update!!!

well, first of all, I51 was amazing. Many drinks were had (my favorite drinking partners being : coolmeister (always a pleasure), TinyTomLogan (first time drinking with him tbh, and a rather nice gent!), Andy from eteknix (again, another first, a good bloke!), the parvum boys (awesome boys!)
and of course some of the OCUK crowd (Rich, Steve, Mark. a pleasure to see you all again, not so much you Andy... im still sore ;) )

Now you might think that all i did was drink there?! YOU ARE WRONG!!! i fixed up my computer so it was usable, and i also spoke to quite a few people in the industry that want to work with me on future builds!!!!

One of these is going to be sponsoring H2Orange, i dont mind telling you, im very excited. I wont say who yet, but its a VERY big company, who specialise im memory and SSD's!!!

Also, ive gained a few builds to do from i51 also!!! One for a professional gaming team!!!!

but less of the chat, heres what i did today. Its only a small update, with one or two pics but here goes!

I started with a table looking rather like this:

After around 8 or 9 hours, i had this:

Basically, with having the 3 GPU's in my system, there were loads of wires and it was annoying me. Out of everything that wasnt ready at LAN, this was probably the biggest thing that stuck out to me.
so now, each GPU will have this:

Its 1 6pin converting into 2 6pins. Once i get the sleeving through, of course they will look a lot better and all the soldering will be insulated.

once done, il be using orange connectors like so:

I need to order some more of these though, as the 10 i already have all seem to be a blooming different shade of orange =(

Anyways, thats all for me for a little while. An announcment will be made soon, informing you of my new sponsor, and il also be giving away 2 XSPC t-shirts too!!!

Cheers!
