So plan is to finish this build tomorrow ( took day of work hehe )
and in few weeks time to get braiding and braid all cables

had a quick go on tubing and fittings...as had a problem with EK ones...I was barely able to 'lock' the fitting with tube on it as for 90degree ones it was quite easy an had to use just a bit of force.

will I have to use pliers to tight them ?

another problem I can have is to figure out which hole in GPU block is in and which one is out...as there is no manual...

lastly for today .... CPU- 370 looks better with top for intel then AMD :(

will keep you posted tomorrow :)

Nice start so far!
I had a bit of a scare with the EK fittings as well. They seem to be too big for the tubes I have as the tubes would come off more easily than other compression fittings I have. But then I found that I have to tighten it all the way in. Didn't have to use pliers, I just hand tighten them.
Seems like GPU 220 doesn't have fixed inlet/outlet ports! This is good thing I think, because you will have more flexibility in planing the tubing route.
Coolant should enter one port and should go across the cooling plate and exit from any one of the ports at the other side.

mine seem to small ;)
will give it a go today again and see if can tighten them all the way...
will even try to pull them up once tighten...

thanks re gpu220.

So how long will you need to stay off the cigarettes before the money evens out?:)

around 5 to 6 more weeks. from now on. so from beginning 7-8 weeks.
I wasnt a heavy smoker....a friend of mine that I made quit as well would achieve this in almost half the time.

in a year I should save £1200 to £1500 :) new build every year hehe

I also thought the EK fittings were a little big for the tube. Took a lot of wiggling and pushing to get the tube to go on.

Wish I had taken more pic's of my build and done a project log.

problem 1 :
CPU is stuck to the cooler...luckily for me I was trying to lift it up and not twist it on cpu as it came out sicked to cooler....or should I try to put it back and twist it ??HELP

Thanks for your concerns but system is not leaking...
tubes for GPU are facing down...
power connectors are both in...
had a pump problem(wasnt working but everytime I switched pc off until found faulty cable...
I havent used much force on screws on GPU water block but could I make it too tight and brake chip ?
