Project : Ive quit smoking so had to spend some £

I think someone doesnt want me to fix/finish my PC :(
I was expecting PSU to be delivered to work...stayed over 2 hours longer as I was waiting for it to be delivered....finally rang them to find out that they couldn't find address!!!!(same company delivered some goods to me on tuesday)

have to wait until Monday now:(
am really peeed off ...

am thinking about going to any PC shop tomorrow to get PSU and send the one from OCuk back ...

am really 'angry' :)

good news is that am going to see one of my mates tomorrow and will test my GPU using his PC...that will narrow down what can be wrong...he is intel user so no way of testing CPU ...and am not going to drag mobo cpu and cooler with me

whats easiest way to drain water from system ?
have new res/pump as well...

So what is your new res and pump?
There are many easy ways to drain a loop.
It all depends on the the loop though.
Some with T line/ drain line at the very bottom of the loop.
Some use the fill line as the drain line as well, but have to tip the case upside down.
Some use Quick disconnects.

I first started with a res/pump combo(DDC with XSPC res top) and did the tubing long enough so I can take the pump/res out of the case and drain by simply unscrewing the tube connected to the pump.
But now I use Quick Disconnects.:D

I bought same res/pump combo. the wan I was given, was too loud for my missus ... ;)

My tubing is long enough to take combo out, will have to disconnect it anyway so need to do it above big bowl or smth.

or this fun has to wait until monday.

ok,
PSU is in da haus now.
just managed to connect it to pump and it works ;) not like with older PSU ( which is now in the bin :) )

completly forgot that my other half is teaching today and Ive left GPU in MOBO in living room [slap myself] so have to wait for student to leave...other half to leave ... put waterblock back on GPU, connect it ...switch it on....close eyes... and pray it will work ;D

if it will, then I will swap res/pump for new one(quiet one ;) ) and MOBO for new one ready for bulldozer :)

thats the plan ;) will it work? i do hope so but wont bet on it ;D

another Update...

new mobo in place...could not start it ...
managed to find a fault ..it was RAM...seems like its either incompatible with MOBO, or dead...i do hope its not dead as it was expensive and could still resell it :)

corsair xms3 2000MHz 2x4gb :)

and for some reason LED next to GPU says there is a fault with GPU, but it still shows picture on screen...

someone really doesnt like me up there :/

final look(and working;) )

sorry for the crap photo...will get better pic tomorrow

at the moment is all running (had to connect old screen as hazro is not showing UEFI Bios :/ )

need to get a grip with this new BIOS as well as ram is running slower then it can ;)

as for ram...my 8gb corsair is either dead or incompatible and am trying to find someone in London to check it for me...
