Project: Juggernaut

Another copper build :)

Nice mate, is this 12mm copper?

Thanks.

Yes, I stuck with the 12mm soft copper again for the second incarnation. Got my delid tool today and just waiting on the gpu backingplates to arrive in about 30mins according to dpd.

Must say your system is producing some decent low temps there.

Its all a bit cramped in my midi but its not too bad dealing with nearly 800w when gaming. :)

where did you find the copper then? Random eBay? If you haven't already I can recommend the renaissance micro crystalline wax to stop the copper tarnish, superb finish if you put some effort in to it.

My temps are stupidly low yes but I do have 4 massive radiators and 17 fans to be fair lol... in my old mid tower they were still good and more than under any limits you might push.

Yes company on ebay called armartrading.

I used copper lacquer last time and seems to have lasted ok and managed to get a mirror finish after some elbow grease. I will check out this wax, though cheers.

Its all relative I know. I use 5 noctuas all @ around 700rpm and get temps that are good so the balance is right for me.

Should have an update or two with some pics as I've torn the rig down to fit a few bits, delid and polish up the copper.

Thanks.

Broke down the build now so thought I would make an attempt at showcasing the build a little better..

System now built. Just testing things out but its looking good temp wise!

Independent cpu max = 48-52degC

SLI and cpu max = 40 gpu's / 55-58degC cpu

Duration only 1 hour..

I decided to go with grizzly conductonaut on the delid 7700k and grizzly kryonaut for ihs,to waterblock and that's a 20degC drop on the cpu!

Going from as5 to kryonaut saw maybe a degree or two drop on the gpu's..

Well happy, always nice when a product such as this makes such a decent improvement. :)
