You'd see better temps for longer, as the water temps would stay lower for longer, andybird explained this pretty well in a post a few weeks ago.

I've already had this D5 holding up a 3L res while pushing through a 1080+360+3 block loop and 5 meters of tubing, it'l be fine

If its not fine, then it looks like I'm either eating someone's hat or doing a 24v mod

Now going to have to rush an order elsewhere for the braided cable kit for my psu, after 3 weeks and two wrong orders ocuk now just don't have stock, wonderful

Another thing I forgot to order....cables to connect the power and reset switches

Will have to make an order with another retailer tonight for the PSU cables, so I'll have a snoop about for those while I'm at it

Right that is everything ordered I hope! Another set of cables ordered and an order with OcUK for my tubing, fluid and some misc items

Backplates are in the post, at best I would say Friday before they arrive with me, at worst Monday.

Why??!! If you are going socket 2011 with a budget that high 3930k is a must.

Why spend that much money on a chip that is getting replaced in Q3 this year? Top line IB-E WILL be making its way into this system in due course

And yes, I would rather have saved £200 going for 3820 over a 3930K, that £200 could have paid for any number of things

I'll let you know how I get on with the icy box as I've never used their products but I hear good things

Looking good for getting the backplates this week, they left Portugal yesterday and arrived in Germany in the early hours of this morning so would expect them in the UK by tomorrow, possibly direct to Scotland as I know dhl cargo planes fly direct to Edinburgh

I need to have a hunt about tonight for more alternatives, I don't understand how stock control can be so poor.

Its the braided cable kit for the PSU thats the issue, originally ordered from OcUK a few weeks ago, got sent the wrong kit twice, then found them to be out of stock - got refunded, ordered from the place in Bolton last night, they then waited until around 7:15pm before deciding to tell me they were also out of stock and are now holding up the entire order that includes the S2011 mounting posts I need, and not giving me chance to meet delivery cut off with any other retailer.

Not happy tbh, everything was looking spot on to be done by the weekend too.

Provided my other orders come through without issue I may be able to avoid the cable kit.

Corsair HX/TX Black, I'd rather avoid paying the near double some retailers have it at too

As it is only 3 retailers in the UK stock them (from what I can see), OcUK had a mislabeled batch, so no stock, the place in Bolton either lies about its stock or just has poor stock control, while the other place want nearly twice what OcUK charge.

OH AND the mrs just won £1500 playing online bingo and I'm not allowed any for parts
