Project Marshlands: A Military Themed Build..

What are the measure ments for the 470 backplates? I am guessing you need them to order from that website.
Also, stunning build mate, can't wait to see it's finished.

How is the plexiglass mounted to the GPU's? (I'm assuming some double sided tape).

Yes, it's 3mm double sided tape, just stuck the corners.. ;)

this is a stunning build... this is the reason i want to do my own project all i wanted was a gaming pc as ive never had one and now im £3000 quid down haha :P

What do you mean? Did you buy a prebuilt for £3000?

Hi, if I remember correctly I measured them at 100mm x 240mm

.................................

Finally got a bit of an update... :)

It was about time I got the case filled with something so I started with the rads and tube res.. The tube res is by no means set to go there, just playing around with some ideas at the moment..

Anyway, here we go..

.....and the bigger picture.. ;)

no i fancied a gaming pc as ive always been console....so i drove up to overclockers and ended up spending just shy of 2000 quid lol. then i joined the forums and went on the project page and well ... now ive spent another £1000 on watercooling plus a bigger case and cable braiding ect :P. anyway thankyou for showing your build it is truly amazing :D

This is looking absolutely superb, I can't wait to see it with the Motherboard installed and everything connected up. Possibly my favourite build on this whole site. Keep up the outstanding quality of work :D

thanks for these lovely comments everyone, gives my heart a little flutter to come back to read them.. ;)

Keenan are you going to dip your psu as well?
Looks really good mate.

Nope, but something better....I hope ;)

.............

Had a little bit of time today and started on the .... wait, it should be quite noticeable from the rough "blueprint" ..

I just read through your log, just wanted to say its very impressive work you are doing and I look forward to seeing more. Subbed

One question...Will you been doing something to blend in the securing screws on the Rad ?

I'm astounded by this log. I have hated this case ever since I first saw it, but you've gone a long way in showing me how good it can look!

Can't wait to see the end result, love that camo transfer.

Ok, I left the glue to harden over night and did a quick test fit this morning..

Perfect fit.. :D

Thinking I should widen the the two "damaged" parts on the case opening side to join them together..

I DON'T BELIEVE IT! You just never fail to amaze, that PSU cover is AWESOME! I presume it's going to get the full treatment like the backplates for the graphics card did, in which case this is going to look amazing.

I simply can't wait until you get that motherboard in there, do you have a full on side shot of the whole case, or are you waiting until you've finished it before revealing all. Either way, I wanna see the finished result, but in another strange twist I don't want this thread to ever end... It just keeps getting better and better.

Some really inspired work here! Loving it. Seeing your home-made backplates for the GPUs has made me think about my own, as well - certainly saves the bother of finding ones that'll fit my non-reference card.

ETA: How are you attaching them? I can't see any screws - double-sided sticky?
