Project Marshlands: A Military Themed Build..

Once again guys, thanks for the lovely inspiring comments..

Meoricin, I'm just using 4 tiny squares of double-sided tape, makes them removable without any tape of stickiness remaining on the card..

Have you taped the plate on to the screws, or hard on to the corners?

Hi, could you explain the question please.. I have no idea what you're asking.. :(

Holy crap this is a sweet build dude. Mind me asking what camera you are using? For 60 quid you are still getting some epic shots :D

Hi, up untill a few weeks ago it was a finepix f5000 if I recall correctly..

I was asking about how you stuck the backplate on to the graphics card. It looks stunning, but I wondered how it was stuck on to the card.

I was thinking that the tape was maybe stuck on to the screws that hold the GPU on to the PCB, or am I totally wrong?

Hi, all I did was cut 4 small (10p) sized pieces and stuck them as closevto the corners as possible..

Hope that helps..

Looks amazing, you are very talented.

Upgrading any components will be a major task though! lol

Thanks OracIe..

Upgrading would be grounds for a new project then.. ;)

Just read through the log. Not my favourite theme but it looks amazing. Gutted its not finished yet!

Hi Staffy50, thanks for the kind words, I've got some time on my hands this coming week, so hoping to get a few more things done..

I hope to have some more updates later today, but for the time being I will have to leave you in the care of my adorable little project mascot..

Got a bit of an update..

After debating an what would be the best color to match "Military Green" I have finally got some results!!

First I did a light basecoat..

Than a second coat and some weathering..

A quick test fit for color matching..

Remember this..?

It now looks like this.. ;)

...and this..

Final results.. Hope you guys like it.. :)
