Project: Rad In Mi Kitchen

yeah, I might reapply the thermal paste and see if that makes a difference. But I suppose that load temp is all that matters. I'll play GTA in a little while and see what the temp reaches.

Here's what it currently looks like from the front:

A couple more to come :)

Thought you guys might like to see this. I put a lot of drops of mayhem's dye into the loop, but it kept fading, so I drained the loop, thinking something was clogging it, and then refilled it with new distilled water. The water somehow became dyed :o

The main cables on show are:

p4 cable - Waaay too short to route round
gfx power cables - same as above
24pin - too thick, so when I route it round the other side of the motherboard tray, I can't put the side panel on.
sata cables etc - don't look that bad irl

Just did a bit of cable management, it looks better now... but I can't put the side panel on. And the only way to get it on would be to mess up all this good cable management work I just did.

I did have a problem at first where the dye was just fading, so I had to drain the system and flush it a couple of times. But yeah, then after that I just added a few drops until it went to a colour that I liked :)

One person I'd like to thank - my 10 y/o brother. He helped flush the rad, he helped to hide inside the box my case came in, he helped hold certain stuff in place, and generally provided a spare set of hands when I needed them. He also benched crysis for me, and played it for a day and got further than me :o

Thanks bud :)

I'm considering just replacing the fans altogether, as they don't push that much air (34cfm @ 1200rpm) so I might get some vipers which push more air, and they are braided too :D
The problem with having a braided cable is that at the moment the cables are being routed through a very thin hole and a braided cable is probably too thick to fit through the hole.
