Project: Rad In Mi Kitchen

I don't know how long I'm going to leak test for. Probably 24 hours or so. Thanks for all your help mate :D

I'm using my old pc to power the pump, saves me jumping the psu.

Oh and the D5 pump is pretty loud on setting 4, louder than I expected in fact. But to change it now would require so much hassle that I'd rather just bear the noise.

I was told that running it on a higher setting would make it bleed quicker :o

It's a slight gurgle, but mainly a rotational sort of sound, sorry I'm not sure how to put it. Let's just say it generally sounds how I expected it to ;)

Oh and: did anyone get the reference of the name of this project?

:cool:The rotary fitting on the barb:

The gpu is seated nicely with no kinks.

I've connected the pump to my old pc :)

Notice the bubbles? :D

More bubbles

The res is bubbling away

I'm a bit concerned though, there's still a lot of bubbles. Most of them are moving, but there's about 50 that are just sitting there in the tubing. will these go?

You were right piggin, UB40 :p

I could upgrade ram, cpu, or hd without taking the loop apart ;_

Or I could upgrade my keyboard or something :p

To be honest, I've realised that it's going to be a lot easier to drain my loop than I thought, especially as only two tubes really need to be disconnected

This has inspired me to do a WC build. Although i don't know if it'll fit in my current case (<3) and even if it does, where i'll find the money :D

Thanks, it's good to know that my work is actually inspiring people rather than putting them off :p

Sorry, went to bed as I was up @ 05:00 for work.

Don't worry about it. I left it on overnight, almost all the microbubbles have gone from the tubing, literally like one or two remain. But, the res has clouded up and there's a fair few bubbles in the res, I might take the top off it. No leaks, and it's a lot quieter, like you said. I'm starting to have a positive outlook for this project :D

I kept having dreams either where it was leaking, or there were so many air bubbles that the level of water in the res went down that the pump let out a load of squealing noises :o

It's all good though :)

I'm feeling very noobish again.

I've got a silver coil, some pt nuke and some anti corrosion stuff. I was planning to wait until my system actually works, (ie: windows is running) before putting these substances in. They won't increase conductivity or decrease thermal performance by a significant amount will they?

Okay, I'm starting to get quite annoyed. Nearly all my psu cables are too short to do any decent cable management, so atm half of them are running down the middle of the case!

This includes:

gpu 6 pin and 6+2 pin
24pin atx
p4

It's starting to look quite messy

Shiny new blu ray player :D

It's very beautiful, and very shiny

The Blu ray player installed. It looks amazing.

My vga power cables aren't long enough to be routed, so it's just a direct route from gfx to psu

Now I've connected almost everything

Here's the drive bays:

And the very messy back of the case:

To be honest, I've kept it just about as neat as I possibly can, even though it looks pap.

I got a prebraided psu extension, and I've used that.

The holes in the motherboard tray could be used, but one is far too low and the other is too far away.

EDIT: the nzxt ones are quite expensive, but the phobya ones are cheap...
