If it get some decent exclusives and is a decent price, I'll pick one up for the 4K player. I'm doubting the exclusives part at the moment though.

They keep calling it a "Premium" console, and when pushed and asked whether that means it will be expensive? Phil Spencer do the PR speak about it is cutting edge tech and it is a premium product.

Aka, Apple Prices.

So I just started playing Red Dead Redemption on PS3. Looks awful compared to what we've had on PS4, of course.

I was reading this article about the resolution and how you're better off playing it on Xbone nowadays.

Xbox One really is the best way to experience this classic - though the lack of a remaster or PC version still rankles. Note to Microsoft: 1080p support for the Project Scorpio back-compat engine, please?

Is that even possible? Could Microsoft somehow make the older 720p Xbox 360 games run at a native 1080p and not just upscale them as happens now?

It must be possible if something like Dolphin emulator can run Wii U games in 4K without presumably altering any of the game code?

Depends on the cost and benefits over the standard Xbox One. If it brings more 60fps games at 1080p then I'll be very interested.

Only one PS4 exclusives in Top 10, Microsoft got two and they are old games. Do gamers really care about PS4 games? are Microsoft releasing less games but aimed at a wider audience?

Top 40, PS4 = 3 Games, Xbox = 5 Games (1 new xbox game this year)

Not really aimed at new console, just got me thinking about comments made regarding exclusives games.

Each to their own I suppose. And yes, I think gamers (PS4 gamers) care about PS4 games.

I will be buying a Scorpio at some point definitely as I've just invested in a 4K tele and always wanted to play the good Xbox games (without spending a lot of money on my PC) but didn't want an Xbone. Hopefully the Scorpio will boost Xbox back to PS market share levels.

not to pick on you, but why not buy xbox one s? Scorpio does everything xbox one does just better performance.

More so I can play the new upcoming exclusives in 4K/HDR. I know the One S does this with upscaling etc but for me it seems like Microsoft are pinning their hopes on the Scorpio so will probably put all their efforts into it. Also, I just know that when the Scorpio does hit, there's going to be a little war for the best games on PS4 Pro and Scorpio no matter how much they say the OG systems will be 'just as good'.

I may be wrong but we both know what Microsoft and Sony are like when they try the one-upmanship games lol.

Minecraft doesn't count, does it? I've been an Xbox fan since the original in 2002 but I must admit they're doing poorly this gen in terms of exclusives. Not just for quantity, the quality really isn't on par with what Sony offers overall. More importantly Microsoft desperately needs new strong IPs, not the same old **** over and over again.

Agreed FH3 is amazing, as I said way back in this thread its explains the paradox of buying a Scorpio for me. Amazing game but i played it almost exclusively on PC, apart from when they broke it with a patch.
Could play in 4k using my wheeel and barring some small issues mainly related to the Xbox app on windows 10 not the game it was amazing and i could play with my friends on their Xbox.

If multi platforms were cross play i wouldn't buy a scorpio but with that being unlikely next time, The division 2, Destiny 2 or the next BF game comes out im going to want a Scorpio to play with my Xbox friends.

A PC friend was asking my why i bought Ghost recon on Xbox when i have a high end PC, the answer is simple i have friends to play it with on Xbox. When scorpio is released i am going to want one for the best Xbox experience i can get. assuming it delivers, even if its sat next to a PC with more Teraflops.
