  • Corsair H70 Fans for Enermax Magma 1500 RPM silent fans using the twister and batwing design.

  • NZXT 8 pin motherboard sleeved extension cable to match the 24pin motherboard cable.

Your case looks awesome Jay, it has made me change my build and i am now going for an antec mini p180.

What was your original cpu cooler before the corsair h70, i want to get a corsair one but that will have to wait a few months

u might want to think about a tinted window then u'll get a nice soft glow over the parts (but this is all semantics now as it's all just ppl's opinion on it but then u know already u've done a good job :P)

Good work jay led belt is a nice touch.

looking good bro :)

Cheers guys :), couldn't have done it without the support from the OCUK members.

Thanks mate, i appreciate the good feedback i'm getting from this build :). Glad i've tempted you into a mini case build :D, it's actually a really good case to work with. Didn't have to stress too much with it either, everything fits together really well :).

I had a Asus Silent Knight cooler in there before, theres a few pictures in this project thread with it on. The Corsair is definitely the better cooler though and fits so perfectly into the front fan bay :D!

I was going to do this originally but i really really like the silent side of this case and if i was to cut a big hole into it i think it'll ruin the sound deadening.

I may do in the future if i get board but right now i'm quite happy with it :).

With the corsair h70 how many fans in there 2 or 1?
Where is your HDD now located?
Also at the beginning of your build you said the fan at the back is wired to a fan controller, if i plan on using my own fan controller is this easy to remove?

Your build is looking beautiful man! did you buy some pre braided nzxt cables?

I took both HDD cages out to accompany the H70 cooler and the rather long 5870 gfx card then mounted my HDD in the bottom 5.25" bay aswel as my CD/DVD drive. Fitted the fan controller in the top bay and routed the cables through the holes in the top bay mount so theres zero clutter.

The switch for the rear fan just comes out if you release the 2 latches that hold it on, the rest was just unpluggin and unscrewing the fan mountings :), easy as that.

There are 2 fans on the H70 cooler and i used NZXT pre-braided cables aswel for both the 24pin mobo cable and the 8pin 12v at the top.

awesome job. Like them LED strips, they really put out a lot of light.

:D

Thanks mate, build is pretty much done but i may go crossfire on a mATX level when the 6 series come out :D get myself a cheap 5870 then.

Ermmm yes you can but pointless tbh as its already on a 3 speed switch anyway!

My case got here the other day!
I think I might leave it on the supplied fan controller for now. Very cool case and your build has been a major inspiration. I hope I can make it look as slick as yours :D
