Project: TITAN 4 !!!!

008ndf.jpg

Just started it up to get into the bios, set the CPU to 4.0 and Memory to 2400mhz.

The red PCI-E leads come with 2 connectors at the end of each lead, does that mean I can connect them to 2 sockets. At the moment I am using one lead to one socket as in the future they might have to deal with a few extra watts.:D:)

Tomorrow I have a big job cable tying all the lose wiring.

cant wait till they are under water! at least then the geforce logos will be gone and not upside down. spin that sli bridge around too for my sanity!

epic cabling job though, really does look fantastic right now.

are you keeping the coolant that colour? i bet your cpu is well cooled

Yes. In fact most new PSUs do now.
You have a single rail PSU so just plug em in and go.

Oh no!
I've just thought of a massive problem Kaap that is going to almost certainly mean a massive re-think...

The 2-digit display on the RIVE is gonna be upside-down!!!

Sorry I had to be the one to break it to you.

On a more serious note, it does look awesome with 4 graphics cards in SLI. The fact that I know they're Titans just makes it more awesome.

I got to thinking, it's sort of a pity that the SLI connectors are near the 'back' of the cards. If they were nearer the power connectors then they might be just enough to help keep the spacing at the fan end of the cards.
I bet they're gonna get warm!

Wonder if the cooling works any better or worse being upside-down?

EDIT: it's also just occurred to me that you'll have great graphics performance, but will have to suffer onboard sound...

Thanks everyone.:)

Before I plugged any power connectors into the cards, I turned the system on to see if it would run. To my surprise all the logos on the cards were fully lit so I hate to think what power they were drawing through the PCI-E slots/mobo.:D:)

It's not the nicest colour but I have found it done not discolour at all. I like the red mayhems do but in next to no time it turns pink.
