Prometheus 2 - what we know so far

Sorry I forgot to add, that we also know that no matter how good this next film is, no matter what genius is displayed in acting screenwriting and direction, it can never remove the stain and blot that is the abortion of a film know as Prometheus.
 
I'll look at this film in its own right and forget about Prometheus, which I actually quite enjoyed anyway. But then I'm easily swayed by sci-fi horror.
 
Can't be as bad as the first. It's like they carefully mapped out the plotline on the floor in chalk, drank a bottle of JD each and then commenced walking.
 
Both love and hate Prometheus equally...no one else on this forum was more hyped about that movie than I was, **** you Ridley Scott you senile old fool!

what was bad about prometheus?

i actually went and watched through the other aliens after seeing prometheus and all of they were quality imo, maybe need to re-watch prometheus again after seeing the rest of them, but it was meant to be a prequel so i theoretically watched them in order.
 
Alien and Aliens are in a totally different league to Prometheus. I've not seen Alien 3 in ages, so can't say for sure. Alien Resurrection was worse than Prometheus, though, I'll grant you.
 
The first was a set up film, not a bad one, not good either, If the next awnsers questions in a decent way, then it could redeem itself.
