Still waiting for the heatsinks. Ordered them on the 30th.. they were supposedly in stock, rang them a couple of days later noticed they had changed my delivery to 5-8 working days, got that fixed to overnight for free, then rang again yesterday because they still haven't arrived "oh there is problems delivering them from our German warehouse" grr...

Oh and I've also been selling all my AMD gpus in the MM for some strange reason... :o
 
Nearly as much fun as i'm having with the 8 sticks of memory I ordered.....

Two companies took my money and then proceeded to tell me there would be a delay......

Waited, waited and waited some more......

Eventually, I phoned them up and cancelled the orders using a few choice words in the process.

They said there was a delay with getting them from crucial......funny really, as I placed an order direct with crucial yesterday, they are in the post now, with delivery due tomorrow before 9:00am - which should let me get the second Intel rig up to full speed :D
 
You go for the same memory I used?

I had to buy from three separate suppliers to get enough sticks.

Oh and Tony good to have you back in the saddle mate. We missed you :eek:

hay bob since you've owned every gpu going, what was the ppd on the none Ti gtx660? im looking as these for £130 ( msi forza model ) or the amd 7850 in ocuk clearance line.

or for £200 :eek: the gtx760

my psu can only cope with one gpu for now. 2 gpus + new psu = big ££££ for me
 
Update: Just cancelled my order for the coolers what a waeste of time that was. Ordered from somewhere quiet next day delivery, should be here tomorrow.

I waested my time with the same place - ordered a couple of 7970's but cancelled the order the next day when I found out the 780's & titans were better for folding. I had to get my credit card supplier to claim back the money too as every attempt (inc phone calls) was unsuccessful.

After such an experience I learned the error of my ways and returned to OcUK to purchase the two titans and two 780's I got.

Hope you get sorted with the refund and new coolers
 
Did you get the coolers next day, If you pay next day delivery, you should get next day delivery. if not you should get the full postage refunded, that's how it worked when I worked at a parcel company.
 
The problem is the company in question - both Biffa and I have been stung with....

If we had both looked into them a little we would have found all the reviwes for them are mostly negative - due to the fact thay take your money and virtually never deliver. Then they keep your money and insist on waiting the full 30 days before even considering giving a refund (it doesn't even matter if you email them, write them, phone them etc) - I had to resort to getting the credit card to issue a claim back for the funds so I eventually got my money back around 50 days after they originally took it.

There is even an online petition trying to get the company shut down through trading standards.

I even managed to get them removed from TopCashBack :D
