Promoting British Values

Being overly concerned with class and tory vs left political tribalism
Being obsessed with property prices and talking about them zzzzz
Being a terrible, boorish drinker (not as bad as aussies mind)
Knowing how to queue properly
Having a good sense of humour

“What we’re talking about is the key values that underline our society and are being undermined by the extremists. Things like democracy, a belief in democracy, a belief in the rule of law, a belief in tolerance for other people, equality, an acceptance of other people’s faiths and religions.”
She's talking out of her PC bottom,
Britain has never believed in democracy, we just invade other countries and imposed our will.

Tolerance for other people ? What, like the French... or any other country that doesn't speak English.

Equality ? We only gave women the vote and stopped selling slaves fairly recently.

"an acceptance of other people’s faiths and religions"

hahahhahhahhahhahhahhahahhahaahahhahahah *breathe* hahahhahhahhahhahhahhahahhahaahahhahahaha

This is a country that almost had a UKIP coalition FFS
We've been trying to convert foreign heathens to our Pixie God since the Middle Ages.

God this is just some Politically Correct BS that may define what a bunch of wide eyed 16 year olds have been taught to think by our new socialist teaching system, but it doesn't represent anyone else.

What she doesn't want to admit to the electorate is that British Values tend to be a bit unpleasant if we are truthful, pretending they are all about sharing and kittens and putting the loo seat down is just rewriting the violent and bloody history of our country.

According to the Teaching Standards we have a responsibility to:

not undermining fundamental British values, including democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect, and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs

Which seems fair enough.

We also now have an equalities minister that voted against gay marriage.

I thought that was the last one, but yes you are right, the new one is also the same.

It would seem an Equalities Minister is really all about propping up Liberal's failed multiculturalism ideology, than being concerned with actual sexual/gender inequality issues that affect 50% of the population.

Moaning that it's too hot or cold, queueing, humour, elements of the service (food/hotels) industry that are stuck in the past, socks/sandals, slow deterioration of the nuclear family and its values, same goes for respect (mainly from children to adults but also professions like teaching), utter confusion and break down in communication when a transport system fails, generally competent and effective police forces compared to other countries but a never ending string of serious abuses, Sunday roasts, a multitude of sporting prowesses, the NHS, one of the best capital Cities in the world, the BBC, dad dancing and (the now banned) British Bulldog playground game.

Strayed off a little.
