It was a tongue in cheek response.
If folks say tex-ted as in texted, rather than texed.
Fixed?
Both text-ted and text ted seem to pronounce the same for me, the hyphen denotes a slight pause, rather than seemingly a new word, no?

'Tex-ted' is obviously the correct way to say it.
I say it tex-ted
yeah.. i think the correct ones 'texted'.. but i say both without thinking nor caringNot too sure... i say both. For no particular reason
I just text you!
I just texted you!
I suppose 'ed is the proper one though.

'Tex-ted' is obviously the correct way to say it.
'Text' as a past-tense form is a bit lazy - some would call it substandard - but understandable to me if you're speaking quickly, particularly for a verb that hasn't been around long enough to gain 'standard' conjugations.
'Text-ted' is really hard to enunciate in addition to sounding ridiculous - don't know why anyone would say it![]()
Tex-ted just sounds retarded :/ "I just text you" sounds more natural?
