protien - creatine

guys, ive got about 1kilo of creatine mono powder to use up BUT i cant drink the stuff as it makes me gag :rolleyes: is mixing with protien ok, or is there a better way .

so far ive tried water,milk,orange juice :o

also anyone heard of

sci mentor protien ?

what I do is just down my protein in one go
As I drink it so fast I cant taste it

When im finished il quickly drink some water to rinse the flavour away

Easy peasy :p
 
Mono is nothing, you're lucky you don't have Ethyl Ester haha.

I put it in a little bit of warm water so it dissolves and then neck it. Though after having Waxy Maize Starch and Leucine in my PWO drink I have a high tolerance to stuff that tastes like arse.
 
il try the warm water one then, roughly how much should be taken ? as i normaly use a teaspoon full .

the only thing was it gave me lose stools :( :o
 
Indeed you're lucky its not CEE! Try one of the flavouring's from blackstar off MyProtein, they should help tame it or Nesquick as others have said but that isnt exactly nutritionally sound. At the end of the day you're taking this stuff and working out to get big, stop being such a pansy!
 
If you can't stomach creatine mono, which tastes of absolutely nothing then you're going to struggle with anything that's not flavoured and sweetened to the max! Do yourself a favour and just get your diet nailed, stay away from the supp's.

You must be using some cheap, crap creatine if you think it's 'sandy' Creapure isn't sandy in my experience, it's a very fine powder.
 
not sure what it is tbh, but it was on offer :o at the gym, £10 for 1.2kiols which didnt seem to bad, the gym is getting lots of protein shakes made and tested to find the best product he can sell for a good price.

i love the protein shakes though :)
 
You can get this stuff in capsules makes it a bit easier. And as others have said CEE is something I wish I never experieced :P God that stuff is DISGUSTING! OJ works a treat with it though.
 
correction, the one that smells and taste of vomit is my post work out drink, some hydrolyzes protein and creapure

taste and smells like someone have digested the food for me in advance :P

I wish I could just stick with normal diet and food but I reall can't cook and eat 7 times a day. I use protein/carb between meals, pre work out mix and post work out mix, Gym 3x week.
 
Just mix it with a little water, then leave it..... mix again, add more water than normal and then neck it.

The more water the less gritty it feels (straight after being stirred)

I find that creatine doesn't do anything for some people. If it doesn't work for you, Try something like BSN Nitrix tablets. Easier and nicer to take. Greater effect too.
 
CEE did nothing for me, Creapure (mono) is a different story though. I'm on a bulk putting 1lb a week on consistantly, stopped taking the Creapure last week and I've dropped 3lb.

Didn't really notice any strength gains aside the water retention, though I got quite painful calve pumps from running.
