Prototype or InFamous

The storyline of InFamous is supposed to be pretty good according to most reviews.

InFamous is a poor version of crackdown when I played the demo it did make me want to dust off my Crackdown disc to have some real fun

Infact anyone up for a co-op on crackdown afaik I got about 3 orbs to find

I was really impressed by inFamous, having not really seen anything about it before. It even had me considering a day 1 purchase (rarely happens)... until I saw the Prototype video above I await a demo for that now.

When I compare the videos, inFamous just looks WEAK.

The Hulk game that they did wasnt bad, and this seems to be just the same game without the hulk but another character very much like him. Its only an issue for PS3 owners though, and the Uncharted Beta is a good enough reason for me to get it. Not too sure on the shape shifting aspect of prototype though looks fun in vids but i want a demo to get an idea. Still think prototype a rental for me as inFamous is a definte purchase.

i'll have both probably as rentals that will fill my Crackdown needs until Crackdown 1.5 arrives.

although i'm still waiting for the infamous demo to finish downloading (98% after 45 mins or so) to see if it plays okay.

After reading some previews it's pretty clear that Prototype is really all about destroying things not to disimilar to Mercenries 2 which I traded in after a week.

Infamous on the other hand is more story driven so I've opted for that.

I hope not but I can see 5/10 scores for Prototype, and basically everyone over the age of 16 trading it in when the novelty wears off.

Im guessing you downloaded in the background, if you dont do it that way im about 95 % sure that it installs automatically, or some of my downloads did anyhow when they werent done in the background.
