Prototype

Dunno what peoples obsession is with steam :P i bought mine for £25, from gameplay.co.uk, i like having something physical then a download i guess.

Coming back to the guy doing the "stealth" consume, you don't have to hold F you just press it then the menu stays up so you can just run behind whoever and press E to stealth consume

Bought on steam - haven't actually downloaded it yet though. I'd much rather have it backed up on my USB HDD in my steam folder than on DVD, even if it costs a few quid more. Auto updates etc is sweet too.

Plus no packaging, manual etc to bin - never keep them anyway!

Yep, and wait till you get the "Patsy" ability, never gets boring to use....lol. :D

Pretty much, if you place your order now. But it's on the shelves in the high street, why not just nip out and grab it on Monday at some point?.

both the game shops dont supply the wireless controller and receiver in-store, gave them both a ring earlier

and at the purple shirt place and there main competitor, its 50 quid at both of them

ocuk was cheapest at 30 quid, so ordered one this morning :)

Whats minimum spec you guys are running this on? My C2D 1.86ghz is too low as per the box =(

Ignore that, from what I have read online the game is coded very well indeed and will run on systems that you probably would not think could run it to any good degree.

Ramp up yer CPU a wee bit if needed, my E6300 C2D runs at 3.2 Ghz without any complaints. Extra performance for no monetary outlay. :p

Why ever not?. I have played this on both the 360 and the PC and I must say the keyboard and mouse input method walks all over the 360 controller.

I don't think so, this is one of the few games that I prefer to play with the 360 controller.

This is the first PC game I have bought since red alert 3 (only bought it on PC because I had a discount on PC games at my local games shop £22 bargin imho)

So Wish me luck!!

Oooh, forgot Activision and Capcom had signed with Stardock, the Digital Content delivery wars begin.

I like Impulse so buying Prototype for there for £5 cheaper than STEAM is great. Same service too I think:

Unlimited downloads
Pre-Patched
No install process to complete

Well I have played it for a good hour and IMHO I love it.
I dont care if the graphics are the best it runs really smooth even when theres loads of stuff going on.
Well Im going to give it a rest for the night and will probably hammer it tomorrow before I start work
