I use the 'ninja rope' power for all bosses :p

Jump in air, hold right click. Dead in about 10 hits.

I did not think it would be possible but oh man it is.

The action is nice but the performance and graphics even on max is terrible. The above screen is 1920x1200 with vsync off and 2xFSAA for example.

The game runs really well for me, all at max and 1680x1050. Could not say the same for GTA4 tho!
 
This game is so fun. I love climbing to the tallest tower while the helicopters are around me King Kong style before jump kicking it and dragging them down using the whiplash skill.
 
It does look a lot of fun. Was watching my other half play on it for a bit last night, and it looks like im going to enjoy this a lot, with everything you can do. Trouble is, now that she enjoys playing, it will be a tug of war on who gets to play it next :rolleyes:

Both overpowered moves ^^ completed game abit to easy when ever trying to use them even on the final boss you can kill it with ninja rope and not even take any damage
 
finally finished it last night but still have loads of the little missions to finish off, think its taken me about 20 hours or so and in that time i probably spent about 4 hours messing about destroying hives and bases and doing the mini missions.

armour imo is pretty crap, with the shield you take no damage at all and it regenerates quite fast. if your having trouble doing the devastator attacks then just rebind them to a single key in the options ;)

@ mrk there is sommat wrong there, i run at max settings at 1920x1080 and 4xaa and vsync and its a solid 60fps.
 
Ah well!

I didn't find it too exciting other than hulk smashing vehicles I guess so not much lost :S
 
It is really exciting, the games graphics are quite impressive and also this game is very fun and very different from any other game I have played IMO

I'm near the end at the moment and have played it on medium. I do wish I could've gone straight for hard difficulty to be honest. Some parts of the game required a few attempts but a good deal of it you can just walk through. Mostly the times you die are when you're getting used to a new enemy type or you've forgotten to destroy something that kills you quickly *cough*
 
I am surprised reviews are generally good for PROTOTYPE. Having finished it yesterday, it's a buggy mess of a game with horrible AI, poor storytelling and annoying camera issues. However it is rather enjoyable due to the heightened focus on Alex and his combat skills, which would make me give it 70%

It's not a drivers issue, it's a HID devices issue as linked above!

Basically in order for the game to not run slow I have to disconnect or disable some USB devices.

The game is not worth my time if I have to do that every time so this won't get played until the bug is patched.
 
There are a lot of people that are waiting for a big patch to be released that will solve a lot of problems that have arisen, some addressed but a lot that are not solvable, and only a patch can fix it
