Then Green gets injured, to be replaced by the 4th best Liverpool keeper. I would have brought in Defoe instead, given that Rooney will be missing the group stages. 2 goalies is enough, when was the last time you saw England use 3 keepers in a tournament? If one gets injured prior to the start you can replace him anyway. A 5th striker is much more useful than a 3rd goalie when one is injured, and another has never played a top division game.

I agree that 2 keepers is enough, but Carson isnt the 4th best keeper at Liverpool he's the 2nd best but he will soon be Englands best keeper

yea, the only reason he went out on loan (when he played well for Wednesday) and Dudek was on the bench was due to his age and Rafa wanting to give him experience.

I think Carson is now 3rd choice and ben Foster is on the stand by list. What a shocking bunch of England keepers we have at the moment!

Aye forget Rooney if Robinson got injured we'd be proper shafted!

Aside from James (whos nearly 36 so wont be around much longer) the next best English goalies are Liverpools 2nd/3rd choice keeper & Norwich's (a championship club) 1st choice keeper.

What ever happened to Richard Wright? he was right in the setup at one time but now he aint even first choice at his club!
